When you come up to a bend
What do you see?
Do you see the end?
Or what is yet to be?
When you come up to a bend
What do you say?
Do you say "I’m done"?
Or "there is something left to be won"?
When you come up to a bend
What do you hear?
Do you hear silence?
Or is there a voice in your ear?
At this bend in my road I can see
Just around the corner to know that
There He stands
Still with my heart is his hand
Attending to the plan
For prosperity and hope
In His time and in His way
And to this I can say,
With confidence in my heart and
Longing in my soul
That this is all to make me whole,
Mature and complete
Not lacking anything
Sure of Him and free to be
Found trusting and waiting,
That His voice I will hear,
A voice of strength and love
Full of compassion for me to know that
No matter where this road may go
There He will be,
“It’s you and me”, he says.
And that is when I know this bend in my road
Is not the end, surely not the end.

Lovesick
You know what they say, I am a hopeless cause …
So much in love I don’t know what to do.
Even if you hide from me, my heart is yours.
When you are silent, I’m not afraid
Because I know you hold me in the palm of you hand
I am a lovesick worshipper and nothing more,
It is you whom I adore
Nothing could make me turn my back,
I burned the bridges and torched the ships.
There is no plan B and no back door.
You know what they say, I am a hopeless case …
So much in love I don’t know what to do.

I am learning to love the way God's hand moves! His Goodness is beyond my comprehension. After leaving Indianapolis, IN last weekend I am so thankful for my time there. I moved there for one reason and left realizing that God sent me there to bless me and help me see His faithfulness and goodness in a new way.
I spent a lot of time wondering why God seemed to be frustrating different plans that I had or that others had for me, but I was and still am right in the center of His will. He willed for me to spend a season learning to walk by faith in a new place with new people and difficult situations.
The friends I made are life-long friends and my soul was refreshed by their presence and kindness. I am learning to thank God in every circumstance. Thank Him when you don't understand what He is doing, because those times are usually the best times in your life. Why? Because you are learning to trust His heart when you can't trace His hand! Enjoy Him today and everyday, He is worth our everything!
Our walk of faith is just that, a walk! On your walk take time to enjoy the scenery and don't worry about the destination, He will fulfill His plan for our lives, we just get to walk with Him.

Like A Flood
When I get scared I feel your word surge inside of me
Like a flood.
Your voice is strong and it calms my fears-
Oh that you would speak and not remain silent!
When I can’t hear you fear overwhelms me
Like a flood.
But then I remember what you said,
You said when I am overwhelmed
You alone know the way I should turn.
So I turn to you and say
You are my God, there is none like you,
Your care is what my heart seeks
And I will follow you because
Your love and only your love
Makes me complete
Like a flood.
Your voice is strong and it calms my fears-
Oh that you would speak and not remain silent!
When I can’t hear you fear overwhelms me
Like a flood.
But then I remember what you said,
You said when I am overwhelmed
You alone know the way I should turn.
So I turn to you and say
You are my God, there is none like you,
Your care is what my heart seeks
And I will follow you because
Your love and only your love
Makes me complete
Broad Ripple, USA
So, I love this place! Before moving to Indiana I had never heard of a place called Broad Ripple. I thank God for leading me to move here! I have made amazing life-long friends and have seen true love displayed in a community of people!
From the Monon Trail to Perk Up coffee shop and many many fun restaurants, Broad Ripple is the place to be if you want to enjoy life with people who are living life to the fullest! I leave in a few days, but this place will always hold a special place in my heart...and in my stomach!! (Yat's, Taste, Da Blue Lagoon, Scholar's Inn Bakehouse .... the list goes on!)
